Management
Bere Meadows is owned and managed by Sonya Brotherton who is highly experienced in working with horses. Being formally a Show Jumper, Sonya has trained with some of the Worlds best including two years spent working with Michael Whitaker. She also spent 6 months in Ireland working on a bloodstock yard including riding racehorses on the Currugh gallops and backing and schooling youngsters, 6 months training and competing on Lars Hedin's horses and a further six months with Fred Welch. Other experience with horses has included working in racing and hunting yards.
Sonya now competes in affiliated dressage with success up to advanced level. She continues her training with regular lessons from John Lassetter at Goodwood.
She did her formal training and BHS exams at Sparsholt College in Hampshire and also spent a further two years there training in Business and Finance for Agricultural Administration.
Bere Meadows also employs additional staff who are experienced, friendly and thorough.
