Welcome to Bere Meadows
Providing quality fully serviced horse livery since 1999
Bere Meadows is a BHS approved Livery Yard. Owned and managed by Sonya Brotherton who is a BHS Stable Manager, EQL Level 5 and British Show Jumping UKCC Level 3 coach.
In 1999 Sonya transformed the 50 acres of Hampshire farmland and buildings into a high class livery yard with secure post and rail grazing, lovely indoor stables with schooling areas and private tracks / gallops.
More About Bere Meadows Livery Yard
We have purpose built indoor stables contained within the well ventilated American style barn, along with the tack room and wash box.
The stables were designed and purpose built by Sonya and are made from concrete block walls. The fronts have brick walls, which are finished in smooth double bullnose bricks to eliminate sharp edges.
Dimensions are 12 ft by 13 ft. The centre passage of the yard has rubber matting to maximise grip as does the wash box.
Stables have full rubber floors and automatic water drinkers. There are no other fittings, to reduce the risk of injury. Hay is fed off the floor. Feed is fed in flexible rubber bowls, again off the floor.
The large outdoor school (30mx60m) is fenced on all sides and has a fantastic rubber and sand surface. There are show jumps available and a full set of dressage boards and markers. Lighting is available for those dark evenings.
As well as the large outdoor school there is also a small indoor exercise area and our wonderful tracks / gallops including river frontage.
